Bonnie J. McDonald, LGSW, LMSW, CACII, is a licensed social worker, certified addiction counselor, and the founder of DC Social Solutions, LLC. With more than a decade of experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and community outreach, she specializes in supporting individuals and families through trauma, addiction, mental health emergencies, and emotional instability.
Bonnie has served with the Department of Behavioral Health’s Community Response Team since 2019, providing crisis stabilization, community outreach, and trauma informed care throughout Washington, D.C. She trains law enforcement professionals in Crisis Intervention Training and serves with the Ayana J. McAllister Legacy Foundation advocating for mental wellness and violence prevention.
A graduate of The Catholic University of America and Howard University, Bonnie’s work reflects her deep belief that healing is both possible and deserved. Through her professional expertise and faith centered purpose, she helps communities rise with strength, dignity, and hope.
